5×7 deep blue brush pen and ink line drawing of individual poppy flowers, leaves, and buds. Water based blue brush pen with light water washes on high quality toned mixed media paper create a bold and striking monochromatic piece of art.
Tracks of My Tears is part of The Poppy Collection by artist Katie Fingland. Each piece of art from this collection is inspired by the loss of the artists’ father, Poppe, and the poppy flowers she grew in remembrance of him. The title of each artwork in this poppy flower painting and art collection is a nod to a song title or quote from a Motown song—Poppe’s favorite music—and how his spirit and memory live on for the artist.
