Frequently Asked Questions

  • Begin by selecting your custom artwork size and completing your purchase online. Once your order is placed, your information is collected and I’ll personally reach out to begin a discovery conversation about your piece—where we’ll talk through your story, inspiration, and vision before the creative process begins.

  • I work within thoughtfully curated categories—such as house portraits, illustrated recipes, pet portraits, happy place landscapes, and more. Each piece is personalized through our consultation so that the final artwork reflects your story and intention.

  • Instead of open-ended orders, I focus on meaningful categories that align with my artistic style. Within those categories, your piece will be customized through conversation, collaboration, and shared inspiration.

    1. Discovery – We begin with a conversation about your story, inspiration, and vision.

    2. Creation – I paint with care, openness, and intention.

    3. Completion – You receive a one-of-a-kind piece made to last.

This process ensures your artwork feels personal, meaningful, and true to your story.

  • Timelines vary based on size, subject, and complexity. During our consultation, I’ll share a clear timeline so you know what to expect.

  • All custom and original art pieces are created with light washes of watercolor and archival inks on premium archival watercolor paper, ensuring both beauty and longevity.

  • Because each piece is one-of-a-kind and created especially for you, we do not offer returns on commissioned work or original pieces. If there are concerns upon delivery, we’ll address them thoughtfully so you feel cared for in the process.

  • Think about the story or memory you want captured, any reference photos you’d like to share, and general ideas about color, size, and mood. I’ll guide you through the rest during our conversation.

  • Yes. I’ll share initial sketches during the process and allow for one round of revisions at that stage. Once the painting moves into final production, additional changes are not available.

  • Yes — artwork can be shipped or picked up locally in Colorado. Shipping rates and packaging details are provided when your piece is ready to send.
